Re-Elect Commissioner Dr. Regina Martin of North Lauderdale District-C as she will continue to help residents:
1. Overcome Inflation
Inflation is hurting North Lauderdale residents, especially lower-income and working families. The cost of standard and basic goods like food, gas, and rent continues to rise. We must cut taxes where possible and offer services to our residents to help them cope during these trying times.
• Work with Broward Family Success to help residents pay FPL bills
• Work with Goodman Jewish Services to help residents pay rent
• Lobby the Federal and State Governments for First Time Home Buyer and Home Repair grants so North Lauderdale can continue to be a beautiful and liveable community.
• Create Affordable Housing by increasing our housing supply. Creating policies that remove unnecessary roadblocks to building affordable homes and apartments.
2. Tackling Crime.
Encourage North Lauderdale BSO and other agencies to invest in programs that assist at-risk youth in our neighborhood and fully fund their programs. I will launch improved neighborhood watch programs and work with North Lauderdale BSO to improve their response and patrol times.
3. Beautification
I will launch a robust Beautification Program that will address neglected streets and buildings. I will continue to champion the upgrade of City Parks with updated equipment, and I will foster our partnership with FDOT to invest in roadway and median beautification and repairs.
THESE ISSUES CALL FOR INTENTIONAL LEADERSHIP.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE AN IMPACT!
